She'll be coming around that mountain when she comes...- Infopop released updates to the international versions of UBB today, get the official info here - 6.2.1 versions for french and german ubb owners can now be accessed and 6.2.0 for spanish can be accessed as well. Congrats to our own moderators Chuck and Manuelbp for their work in these...  Calling All Comers- This month's uzine will be launched shortly, we know how much you guys look forward to each issue We now give you more reason to look forward to it: With the next issue, we'd like to: - have material contributed from our members
- the material must be of a nature that would interest the rest of our members and total audience - ie: general gaming reviews, hardware/software reviews, interviews of internet/computer "celebs", your favorite UBB modifications, how-to articles on graphics, coding, html, etc.
- the material must be of a quality and standard that we would be proud to present
- 100-250 words with correct grammar and spelling
- can be a language other than english
In turn you and your site will get front page exposure on UBBDev for the entire month the article/news item is displayed (we are moving to a newer format in which to prominently display the uzine to a larger audience ) and be viewed by thousands of web developers. This will be an ongoing event, so we are open to quite a few submissions... more info will be posted and a special form to submit your article with feedback by staff here before publication will be forth-coming

Internet/computer-related "pop culture" will also be entertained as a frequent column as long as the material is of good quality

Allen already touched on the fact that the material must be accurate and high-quality, but I'd just like to remind you that everything submitted will be checked before it is published, as our staff is knowledgeable in most areas of Web technology.

There is no reason for us to take credit for someone else's work... those who've been around a while would understand/expect that from us. The idea is to give those who have knowledge they'd like to share a platform they don't normally have. For those who need some help with their content, we'll be glad to assist them with editing, but full credit will still go to the original authors....
